FEED-ing & drinking, barefoot on Navy Beach

This weekend, Moet & Chandon hosted a private barefoot luncheon at Montauk’s Navy Beach in honor of Lauren Bush and FEED projects. With goblets (yes, goblets–it’s a summer Sunday!) of the bubbly in hand, guests such as Bush’s soon-to-be-hubby David Lauren, Cynthia Rowley and Bill Powers, Annelise Peterson, Fabiola Beracasa, Fabian Basabe, Ben Pundole (the mastermind behind Montauk hot spot Ruschmeyer’s) and girlfriend Chelsea Leyland, and Todd and Megan DiCiurcio perused FEED bracelets and limited edition picnic bags at the FEED pop-up shop.

For lunch, paired with Moet Ice Imperial champagne (the new product you can actually serve on ice) was a summery selection of edamame, tuna sashimi salad, calamari salad, miso salmon and of course, lobster rolls.

While some guests chose to arrive by Ferretti Riva yacht, others such as the Davis family (Frank and Kristina, with daughters Ali and Annie) chose dry land–not lacking style, however, in a old-school convertible with red leather interior.

If this day doesn’t scream summer out east, I don’t know what does.
